About The Reiki Matrix

Why "Reiki Matrix"? Why Holistic? Why Ministry?

The inspiration for the name of this website comes from the Japanese healing art of Reiki and Gregg Braden's book The Divine Matrix, which describes how science further validates the reality behind Metaphysics and Reiki as well as other forms of spiritual healing and vibrational medicine, how and why they work.

Reiki is a spiritual practice and a natural healing technique of Japanese origin that can be performed in person or at a distance. Though spiritual in nature, Reiki is not a religion. The word Reiki (pronounced rây-kêy) is a combination of two Japanese terms, REI and KI. Rei is translated as meaning Universal/Spirit/God. Ki is translated as meaning Life Force Energy. Simply put, Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy or God Power. See more below.

The word Matrix is defined by the American Heritage Dictionary as 1. Situation or surrounding substance within which something else originates, develops, or is contained... 2. The womb.

According to Gregg Braden in his book The Divine Matrix, science has made four important discoveries regarding reality and the matrix:

1. There is a field of energy that connects all of creation. 2. This field plays the role of a container, a bridge, and a mirror for the beliefs within us. 3. The field is nonlocal and holographic. Every part of it is connected to every other, and each piece mirrors the whole on a smaller scale. 4. We communicate with the field through the language of emotion.

Holistic means relating to or concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the analysis of, treatment of, or dissection into parts. Holistic Healing is about treating Mind, Body and Spirit... The whole person. Natural health is an eclectic self-care system of natural therapies that builds and restores health and wellness by working with the natural recuperative powers of the human body.

The word ministry (min·is·try (mì n'ì -strê) n. pl. min·is·tries) used here pertains to the following three definitions 1.The act of serving; ministration. 2. One that serves as a means; an instrumentality. 3. The profession, duties, and services of a minister.

The Reiki Matrix is about the natural health and healing of the whole person, the planet and all living things. It's about returning to the basics of life and living. It's about sovereignty and freedom. Mother Nature has everything that we truly need. Man may be able to create and invent lots of things, but it is the natural elements that truly sustain us.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key), as referred to in these pages, originated in Japan with Mikao Usui and is a simple, elegant and completely natural healing system using touch. When one has been attuned to the Reiki Energy "frequency" by a Reiki Master, through specific initiations or "attunements", then simply laying their hands on any living thing activates the Reiki Energy to bring oneself or another back into energetic balance and harmony; a natural state of wholeness.

Usui Reiki has three levels of training and initiation. Reiki I training consists of attunements that align one with the Reiki Energy and basic hand positions for self-treatment and treatment of others is taught, along with the history and principles of Reiki. Reiki II consists of further attunements to the Reiki Energy and a technique of distant healing is taught along with the sacred symbols of Reiki. Reiki III is sometimes offered in two ways. One being a 'Reiki Professional' certification, where Reiki Master initiations are conferred without the benefit, training or certification of being a Reiki Master. This is for those who wish to use Reiki as a professional but do not feel called to teach Reiki. The second way is Reiki Master certification, which involves years of training and a commitment to teaching Reiki to others.

Benefits of Reiki

Reiki relaxes the body and allows balance to return to the energy systems of the body so that it can heal naturally. Reiki affects all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - to affect a complete healing. A Reiki practitioner does not heal anyone. A practitioner is more aptly described as a healing facilitator. Being healthy and whole is the natural state of Being and it is only when the natural health of the whole person is blocked or mis-aligned in some way that "dis-ease" occurs in the body.

Once one has become attuned to the Reiki vibration they can use it on themselves as well as friends and family. Reiki is permanent and effortless and does not require one to meditate, concentrate, visualize or in any other way alter their state of consciousness to use it. Reiki does not require belief or faith, though individual free will can block any energy from having an affect on a person. A person does need to be open and receptive and give permission to allow Reiki (or any healing energy) to work effectively.

Raise the hemoglobin levels of the blood
Promote relaxation
Maintain health and vital energy

Reiki starts to flow when a Reiki practitioner touches something; it's always on; Does not conflict with religious beliefs; Is an alternative, natural healing and helping method; Is an intelligent energy which goes to greatest need; Can be combined with other healing methods.

Rev. David G. Collins, B.Msc., The founder of The Reiki Matrix™, lives in Dallas, Texas, and is an initiate of the Usui Spiritual Method of Natural Healing known as Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki. He was 'attuned' in 1986 in Reiki I and Reiki II by world-renowned Reiki Master Julia Carroll, M.A., A.T.R. (a.k.a. Judy-Carol Stewart). Julia is a fifth generation Reiki Master who was the 35th Reiki Master in the world, the first Reiki Master in the state of Texas, wrote the second ever book on Reiki (the Reiki Touch® Twentieth Anniversary Edition is now available) and is the founder of the Reiki Touch Institute of Holistic Medicine™.

David proudly received his Chikara-Reiki-Do, Usui and Tibetan Reiki Master initations from Reiki Master Judith Conroy of the UK.

As well as being a Reiki Master, David is an Ordained Metaphysical Minister and practitioner of Spiritual Mind Treatment through the International Metaphysical Ministry (I.M.M.) has a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science Degree and is working towards a Ph.D. in Metaphysical Science from the University of Sedona. He was certified in Alchemical Hypnotherapy through the Alchemical Hypnotherapy Association of Atlanta, Georgia in 1994 by Debbie Unterman - With Specialty recognition : ). He was, for many years, a personal fitness instructor and fitness consultant certified by the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M.) as well as being a certified aerobics instructor with specialty recognition in the areas of weight management, stress reduction and nutrition.

David also completed Heart Zone Training with Sally Edwards, A former Master's World Record holder in the Ironman Triathlon, as well as a World Record Holder in the Iditashoe 100-Mile Snowshoe Race and Ronda Gates, one of the most respected health promotion and weight management consultants in the U.S.A.

David has studied Metaphysical subjects for over 33 years, among them Wicca, the works of Jane Roberts/Seth, Lazaris, White Eagle, Ramtha, Louise Hay, Deepak Chopra, Bernie Siegel, Edgar Cayce, NLP, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Ernest Holmes/The Science of Mind and Unity, the Kabbalah the Teachings of Abraham (as presented by Jerry and Esther Hicks) and the works of Gregg Braden (The The Divine Matrix, The God Code etc.).... just to name a few.

Currently, David is finishing his Ph.D. in Metaphysical Science and is also pursuing a Doctor of Naturopathy degree.
